The HDC believes in strong community activity. By coming together for various events we are able to promote equality across the board. Events will be posted that are created by several local GLBTQQ+ friendly groups.

PFLAG // Nativity Lutheran Church // 60850 Brosterhous Road, Bend, OR 97702// 6-8 PM
Special Guest Oregon Safe Schools and Communities Coalition will be presenting!
Meetings are confidential and include introductions, “PFLAG Moments” where people share if they have had encounters where they were able to support someone, educate someone about gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender issues or advocates on behalf of our LGBTQ loved ones. We usually have a social event, a speaker or a topic for the evening and occasionally we have break-out support groups depending on the need. We try to make everyone feel welcome whether you are a parent, who has just learned their child is gay or you are a LGBTQ person yourself who is struggling with your identity or coming out. Feel free to wear whatever you are comfortable in. We’re a relaxed group and accept people as they are! Please join us!
We also have parents who are willing to meet with other parents one on one if that is more to your comfort level.
Please call our Infoline or e-mail us at email@example.com .
