Your Chance To Be Pride Fashion Model

Maurice’s of Redmond and Bend will have their first EVER fashion show at Central Oregon Pride! Together we want to feature YOU! We are searching for 12 volunteers to “Strut Their Stuff” with Maurice’s line of clothing!

As an ALL INCLUSIVE  brand Maurice’s wants 12 individuals no matter age, size, gender, weight, orientation, or belief to come in a week before Pride (time/date to be set up later) Choose their outfits, and #WorkThatRunWay at June 24th.

Runway Model Applications will be available starting April 20th and close May 31st. If we have more than 12 submissions we will choose at random who will be featured on that runway.

Queer Youth Space Returns!

With great excitement Human Dignity Coalition will be hosting QYS once more!  A safe space for students to have a social area safe zone that with two outstanding volunteers to chaperone the social hour.

Student aged person from 13-20 are invited to attend the event on the Third Tuesday of Each month, starting January 17th 2017.

The event will be permanently held at Dudley’s Book Cafe will hold the event open from 5 PM – 7 PM.

Transgender Day of Remembrance

Transgender Day of Remembrance, Sunday November 20th 2016

In honor of Transgender Day of Remembrance and in recognition of the upcoming trans rights struggles, Human Dignity Coalition is hosting a workshop on how to be an ally to transgender folks.

Learn about the challenges facing transgender people and how you can help support members of the local transgender community through simple, everyday actions.

If you have specific questions you would like to see addressed, please post them here or email erin.rook@gmail.com in advance of the event.

We will also have an area set aside for remembrance of those transgender people who have been killed in the past year for those who would like to pay their respects.

Transgender folks who are interested in convening to discuss in-community strategies for staying safe are invited to arrive at 2 pm for informal conversation and connection.

HDC 14th Annual Drag Show

Human Dignity Coalition will be hosting it’s 14th Annual Drag Show two days before Halloween featuring Poison Waters & Friends! We encourage you to come in costume and #DoYou! There will be a No Host Full Bar thanks to Absolut Vodka!
